I have a chronic autoimmune condition developed during lockdown that manifests as arthritis. This has prevented me from developing the vegetable garden I envisioned when I moved in. As far as I can tell the garden has lain under a jungle for the last 10 years. Friends came and cleared that and cut down the 12 foot hedge to more manageable proportions. There is a path down the middle dividing it into two good size plots on each side and hard standing at the bottom ready for the already purchased shed to be erected on. There is a gate from the street into the yard at the side of the house and because I work at home access to hot drinks, power sockets, first aid, hand washing and WC. Outside there is a tap, power socket and a brick build storage. I would welcome a community group, family or individual, just so long as the space is made use off, yields some goodness and the look of it improves. The view from the house at the moment just reminds me of all the things I can no longer do. Although I think I could help with weeding and watering if there were raised beds.
